In this GIMP tutorial featuring Darktable, I show you how to edit a RAW photo from start to finish using these two free programs. From a brief over of what RAW images are (and how they differ from JPEGs), to making image adjustments, to manipulating the photo and exporting it, I’ll show you the entire process for editing your RAW images.
This is a great tutorial for beginner photographers and photo editors! For those of you who don’t know, Darktable is a great FREE alternative to Lightroom, while GIMP is a great FREE alternative to Photoshop. They have both come a long way over the years, and thus produce great photos and photo compositions!
